Occupational and Recreational Dive Medicals

Diving is generally a safe activity for healthy individuals, but the pressure changes associated with the sport can pose risks, especially for those with certain health conditions. To ensure safety, it’s important for divers to undergo a thorough medical evaluation.

At Clements Medical, we offer comprehensive recreational and occupational/commercial dive medical assessments. Our Recreational Dive Medical (AS4005.1) includes a detailed medical history review, physical examination, lung function test (spirometry), hearing test (audiometry), and, in some cases, an electrocardiogram (ECG). These assessments help identify any underlying conditions that may increase the risk of injury while diving.
