Our skin cancer specialist GPs are dedicated to delivering essential skin cancer care to remote communities through our outreach clinics. These clinics offer comprehensive skin checks, crucial for the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. Our specialists also emphasise education, informing community members about the risks of skin cancer, the importance of sun protection, and how to identify early warning signs. When necessary, our doctors perform excisions and other procedures to treat identified skin cancer issues, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.
Equally committed to addressing the unique health needs of women in remote communities, our women’s health GPs offer a range of essential services. These services include routine pap smears, vital for the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer. Our specialists also focus on educating women about various health issues, empowering them with knowledge about their bodies and wellness practices. Additionally, our clinics provide comprehensive contraceptive services, helping women make informed choices about their reproductive health. By providing these vital services directly to remote areas, we help protect and enhance the health of individuals who might otherwise have limited access to specialised medical care.
Additionally, as part of our outreach services, we offer services that focus on children’s health. We regularly send our skilled GPs to provide consistent and comprehensive medical care service to boarding schools, St Patricks College and St Teresa’s Catholic College. This initiative is aimed at promoting the health and well-being of students by providing regular check-ups, timely medical interventions, and health education sessions. By having qualified healthcare professionals on-site regularly, Clements Medical not only addresses immediate health concerns but also fosters a supportive environment where students can thrive academically and personally, knowing their health needs are meticulously managed.
With a mix of Medicare and funding grants through Check Up, we are always on the lookout for further opportunities to support rural and remote communities.
